Ingredients
- 1 Italian loaf or French Baguette
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1½ cup mozzarella cheese (grated)
- ¼ cup pepper jack cheese (grated)
- 2-3 jalapenos (sliced into thin rounds)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- Green onions (garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degree F.
- In a bowl, mix together garlic, softened butter, mayonnaise, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, pepper jack cheese, salt and pepper.
- Cut the loaf into half inch slices.
- Spread the prepared mix generously on one side of the bread slices. Top with jalapeno slices and the remaining ½ cup mozzarella cheese.
- Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese has fully melted. Serve hot.
